Restorative Yoga, Massage & Reiki
This 2 hour workshop incorporates Restorative Yoga and Reiki, a combination that will guide your mind and body to a deeper state of relaxation. Breathing and meditation techniques to calm the mind and props will be used to allow for a gentle, passive stretch. No experience necessary. This is a no work workshop. What a great way to introduce someone new to yoga. Come pamper yourself with a total mind/body escape.

This is a casual workshop where questions are welcome. We will address all of these questions and many more.
We will go over the basics and address all of your concerns, so you can enter you next (or first) yoga class with confidence.

Join Tricia Glynn & Melissa McKim for a Full Day of Yoga at the beautiful Just Right Farm in Plympton Massachusetts
8:30am- Drop your mat in the Yoga Studio and choose your spot for the day.
8:35am- Morning Tea on the Farmstead– Allow Kimberly’s warmth and southern charm to greet you in the farmhouse. Settle in and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee. You are welcome to take a tour of Mark and Kimberly’s 300 year old home. This house is impeccably designed to honor the originally beauty of it’s time.
9:00am- Welcome & Introductions
9:15am- 10:30am Gentle Hatha Yoga w/Melissa– Learn to feel the connection between the body and the mind. This class incorporates gentle stretching, breath work, restorative postures and meditation. Relaxing the mind results in a natural release of the muscles. As we work to center the mind, the body will respond more effectively to the stretch.
10:30am-11:45am All Levels Flow w/Tricia– In this “All Levels” flow we will move slowly to make the practice comfortable for new yogis or practitioners who prefer a gentle practice. Advanced students can use this slower paced flow to work on the structure and alignment of each posture and strengthen their body and practice with the longer holds. Both modifications and challenges will be offered throughout class. Breaks are encouraged.
11:45am- Noon- Strategies for Labyrinth Walks & Walking Meditation. Short 15 minute discussion before the break.
12:00pm- 1pm Lunch– A farm to table lunch that will excite both your eyes and your pallet. Taste the heart and soul of the Just Right Farm kitchen in every bite. This meal is a real treat!
1:00pm- 1:30pm Free Time– Walking Meditation through woodland trails, Labyrinth, Explore the grounds the gardens, & don’t forget to visit the goats.
1:30pm – 2:30- Meditation Techniques w/Tricia– In this workshop style class we will explore several different types of meditation techniques, so you can decide which methods work best for you. You can meditate! All it takes is patience, commitment and the right technique.
2:30pm- 3:30pm- Yin Yoga w/Melissa– Cultures around the world have different methods of moving universal life force/energy. The Japanese move Ki through Reiki (laying hands). In India, and now throughout the world, yoga is used to move life force through controlled breath called Prana (Pranayama). The Chinese move Qi (‘Chee’) through the practice of Tai Chi. In the practice, we use yin posture held for 3-5 minutes to unblock Qi in the meridian lines of the body. This practice differs from a “yang” class, like a Vinyasa, Hatha or Power, that focuses on the muscles. A yin practice works the connective tissue. This style invites the practitioner to just “be” with oneself and all of the sensations that arise in the physical, emotional and spiritual body.
3:30pm- 4:00pm Guided Meditation w/Tricia– This “extended Savasana” will be the perfect end to your blissful day at the farm. Before you leave and travel back to your life outside the farm, take some time to feel, connect and absorb the peace and calm of your day in this special place.
