Yoga for Youth Figure Skaters
Where: Unplug & Be Mindful Yoga, 696 Plain Street Suite #5 Marshfield
When: Sunday’s Beginning November 5th 3pm-4pm or 4pm-5pm Ages 9-15
There will be no class 12/24 or 12/31. Namaste

Investment: $10 per class
In this weekly yoga practice, we will focus on stretching and strengthening areas of the body that ice skaters need such as the hip flexors, low back and the neck.
We will also focus on strengthening the core to increase low back stability. And use Yin postures to get into the plantar fasciae, IT band and the psoas muscles.
In addition to the physical elements of the practice, the skaters will learn how they can access the breath in times of stress and mindfulness techniques to assist them in their daily lives.
