Yoga and Meditation Workshop

Please join Amber Gregory, Certified E-RYT and Aynsley Forsythe, RN-BSN and Certified Reiki Master for a Yoga and Meditation Workshop. Amber will guide students through a 90 minute Vinyasa Flow teaching the foundations of each asana practiced, both anatomically as well as spiritually. This flow is meant to cleanse, heal and invigorate. Aynsley will share her love of Reiki with participants and lead an open discussion and guided meditation on Reiki, specifically how to harness your personal energy. This part will be designed to strengthen the individual energy flow and to act as a temporary connection to the energy of the group.

Please wear comfortable clothes and bring water. The studio offers mats, props, blocks, bolsters, eye pillows and essential oils. Tea and light, healthy snacks will be provided.

Restorative Yoga, Massage and Reiki with Crystal Singing Bowls

$40pp; $35 Seniors and College StudentsRestorative Yoga, Massage & ReikiThis 2 hour workshop incorporates Restorative Yoga, Massage and Reiki, a combination that will guide your mind and body to a deeper state of relaxation. Breathing and meditation techniques to calm the mind and props will be used to allow for a gentle, passive stretch. As part of this workshop we play crystal bowls with frequencies aligned to the 7 main chakras of the subtle energy body to assist in removing blockages from the energetic body.No experience necessary. This is a no work workshop. What a great way to introduce someone new to yoga. Come pamper yourself with a total mind/body escape.

What is Reiki?

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation. It is administered by “laying on hands” and is based on the idea that an unseen “life force energy” flows through us and what causes us to be alive. If one’s “life force energy” is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. During Reiki feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation, and feelings of peace, security, and well-being.
