Āyurveda
The sister science of yoga — a 5,000-year-old science of life that honors your unique constitution and guides you back to balance.
What Is Āyurveda?
Āyurveda, the sister science of yoga, was systematized over 5,000 years ago in India. It is a complete system of natural medicine that addresses the whole person — body, mind, and spirit. Rather than treating symptoms in isolation, Āyurveda identifies your unique mind-body constitution (prakriti) and works to restore harmony through personalized diet, lifestyle, herbal support, and therapeutic treatments.
"Hitahitam sukham duhkham ayustasya hitahitam. Manam ca tacca yatroktam ayurveda sa ucyate."
“Āyurveda is the science that tells us what is beneficial and what is harmful to life, what is happy and what is unhappy for life, and what is good and what is bad for life.”
— Charaka Samhita
Āyurveda Body Work
Āyurvedic body work is a deeply nourishing, hands-on healing practice rooted in the ancient traditions of India. Using warm herbal oils, rhythmic massage techniques, and intention-based touch, these treatments are designed to balance your doshas, release stored tension, and restore the natural flow of prana throughout the body. Each session is tailored to your unique constitution and current state of balance.
Abhyanga
A full-body warm oil massage using strokes that follow the direction of hair growth and energy channels. Deeply calming to the nervous system and nourishing to all tissues.
Shirodhara
A continuous stream of warm herbal oil poured over the forehead (third eye). Profoundly relaxing, it quiets mental chatter and supports deep rest.
Marma Point Therapy
Gentle stimulation of vital energy points throughout the body to release blockages, improve circulation, and restore energetic balance.
Udvartana
An invigorating herbal powder or paste massage that stimulates lymphatic flow, exfoliates the skin, and kindles digestive fire.
